Damon Dash, Hi-Tek Attached To Biographical Film On Harlem Drug Kingpin Nicky Barnes, "Mr. Untouchable"
Coming from Magnolia Pictures and Damon Dash Enterprises is Mr. Untouchable, the true-life rise and fall of New York City's most notorious drug kingpin, Nicky Barnes. The film is based on real events that took place in the 1970's, which tell the story of Barnes (aka "The Black Godfather's") rise to power through the heroin trade. Starting from nothing, Barnes and his team became rich beyond their wildest dreams, eventually landing the cover of Time Magazine with the title "Mr. Untouchable", but ultimately being taken down by the law and giving the names of everyone involved.
